Growth/Innovation

As I was looking through my iTunes and listening to Kanye West “Yeezus”, I remember how all his albums are different from the previous some are better, some aren’t. He musically growed throughout the course of his albums, which brings me to the topic. Growth/Innovation. Instead of rappers trying to remake their first albums, they should make albums better than the first no matter how good the first album is. Some never advance/grow. Their fifth album sounds just like their first. Innovate. But, his doesn’t have to only apply to rappers. This can apply to fashion designers, teachers, all designers, engineers, etc. For example, there’s a fashion designer named Kevin Vain who lives in Charlotte, I’ve chatted with him a few times about fashion. Back to what I was saying, Kevin Vain premiered his first collection not to long ago and it was amazing. If Kevin remakes the same collection as his first collection. He’d never grow as an designer and become bland. If Kevin would want to show growth. He’d take his first collection, analyze and try making something way better than his first collection. Yes, Kevin Vain had an amazing first collection, but does he want to be remembered as the guy who only had one great collection, while the rest of his collections are synonymous as his first? No. He wants to be known as the guy who collections that are better than the previous. Innovation, innovation, innovation. I can’t stress that enough. Without it, great minds like Steve Jobs (R.I.P.) would be bland.
